Mountain Lake
Tucked within Moran State Park, Mountain Lake is less traveled than its bigger brother, Cascade Lake, yet no less beautiful, a peaceful spot perfect for swimming, paddling, and picnicking. Surrounded by evergreen forest, the lake features a 4-mile loop trail that’s great for hiking or trail running, with gentle terrain and beautiful shoreline views. You’ll find picnic tables, fishing spots, and access points for kayaks and paddleboards.
