About the event
Brasil in Motion (formerly Bahia in Motion) is an award-winning Brazilian arts organization based in Seattle, WA. We offer classes, events, and educational programming that celebrate Afro-Brazilian cultural heritage, as well as annual cultural immersion tours to Bahia, Brazil.
Our mission is grounded in the belief that a balanced body, mind, and spirit are essential to well-being—and that the arts play a vital role in cultivating this harmony. Through movement, music, and community, we help people discover joy, resilience, and healing. At its heart, Brasil in Motion is about connecting across cultures and uplifting our shared humanity through the arts.
Co-directors Daniel Nery dos Santos and Aileen Panke are dedicated to creating inclusive spaces and building cross-cultural bridges.
