About the event
Join the Orcas Center for a festive “Role Out” on Sunday, September 28 from 1–4 pm as they kick off the 2025–26 season with an afternoon of discovery and celebration. This free community event welcomes donors, performers, parents, and all lovers of the arts to explore what’s ahead for the year.
The day begins with a ribbon-cutting ceremony unveiling the brand-new dance studio, a project years in the making. Guests can also check out the new solar panels recently installed on the studio and warehouse roofs, a sign of the center’s commitment to sustainability.
Throughout the afternoon, meet Orcas Center staff and board members, hear about upcoming arts classes, major productions, and festivals, and enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at the center’s inner workings. After the main stage presentation, head to the Madrona Room for refreshments, class schedules, and sign-ups—and perhaps even catch a few spontaneous jazz hands along the way.
